Malin works as a teacher, freelance dancer and choreographer and got her education at Balettakademien, Stockholm. In 2005 she continued further training in Paris and NYC where she focused to immerse and learn House dancingand Waacking. She has worked with several artists, choreographed and starred on numerous shows for stage and television in Sweden including Grammisgalan, Melodifestivalen and the Urban Connection festival at Dansenshus, toname a few. Malin also joined the cast at Cabaret du Moulin Rouge in Paris 2004 and continued as a dancer and later on dance captain in their tour-ensemble for over a decade, appearing at a variety of Theaters, TV shows and events in USA, Asia, Latin America and across Europe.
1. What is the main focus on your classes?
To dance, enjoy and let the student take part of a steady foundation, useful tools and exercises in each style.
2. Which qualities do you think are important for a dancer?
Curiousity, discipline, passion, responsiveness and a massive urge to express oneself through music.
3. What makes your style unique?
I think my experience, the research and diversity from three very different styles has left it’s mark on me.
4. What inspires you?
The universe, the nothingness and everything in between, but most of all the music.
